HTC has begun rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software upgrade for the One X+, which runs Android v4.1 out of box. The update comes one month after Android 4.2.2 roll-out for company's flagship, HTC One.

As for new features, the Android 4.2.2 brings several notable features and changes for One X+ including the latest version of Sense, HTC Sense UI v5 (same as the HTC One). Additionally, the update includes BlinkFeed, an enhanced camera UI with auto exposure and focus lock, quick settings in the status bar.

The latest official firmware is available as Over-The-Update (OTA). Those who have not received the update yet, navigate to Settings>> About>> Software Updates>> Check now for OTA update.

HTC has released the update beginning from One X+ users in Taiwan. Several One X+ owners in Asia have confirmed the OTA update at XDA forum. The Android 4.2.2, as HTC Source notes, is expected to hit the European countries in coming weeks.
