Where to Watch Live

Overview

The Eden Gardens will wear a festive mood ahead of Tendulkar's penultimate test match as the greatest batsman in the modern version of the game, tries to set the wheels in motion for one last time before hanging up his boots. Kolkata has always been a happy hunting ground for Tendulkar, where he made his first appearance a staggering 22 years ago, on January 4, 1991 and has since established a lasting relationship with one of India's iconic playgrounds.

The aura surrounding Eden Gardens is exemplified by the quality of the crowd, who know their cricket and the occasion is likely to be embellished by the presence of one of Tendulkar's most revered peers, in the "Prince of Calcutta", Sourav Ganguly, who will take his position in the commentary box. It will be an emotional moment for all and sundry, having seen the master blaster save India from the clutches of doom on multiple occasions.

One the cricketing front, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is set to take his form from the One Day internationals to the Test matches and give Tendulkar a fitting farewell. The Indian Captain has come a long way since his debut and will play in front of a packed Eden gardens crowd who will be shifting with anticipation.

For West Indies, they will believe that they have a chance given the limelight surrounding the master blaster and hope that it takes a toll on the concentration of the Indian cricket team. The likes of Chris Gayle and Kieran Powell are capable of tearing any bowling attack apart on its day and their bowling attack, which consists of the likes of Tino Best and Sheldon Cottrell is not one to scoff at.
