James Bond is coming home! The newest 007 film, "Skyfall", is being shot in London!

Daniel Craig was seen surrounded by vehicles and emergency services personnel, on Whitehall Road, shooting for the film, according to The Sun.

According to popular film information Web site IMDB, the film's plot revolves around Bond's connection to his superior, M... and the cropping up of an unsavoury incident from her past. Furthermore, after MI6 comes under attack, 007 must then track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

A report by the Metro said original plans to shoot the film in six locations, including Bali and India were cancelled due to "technical and financial difficulties". The majority of the film, it now appears, will be shot in the UK, with Turkey the only overseas location. "Skyfall" also suffered a series of delays before work finally began, after production house MGM filed for bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, Sam Mendes, the film's director, is all praise for Craig.

"I was genuinely blown away by Casino Royale, because of Daniel. I thought he was a real man in a real situation again and it reminded me of the way I felt when I watched the Sean Connery movies," Mendes was quoted as saying to The Sun.

"Skyfall" is scheduled to release on 26 October.
