Kathryn Bernardo, Mark Alcala Dating? Photos Show Rumoured Couple Hanging Out in Public

Kathryn Bernardo is one of the most famous celebrities of her time. She first started in the industry as a child star having appeared in the hit Sunday show for children called Goin' Bulilit. As a teenager, she was paired with a some young actors, but it was her chemistry with Daniel Padilla that propelled the two of them to stardom.

Bernardo and Padilla dated each other for over a decade. At first, they tried to hide the real status of their relationship from the public and made it seem as though they were just working as onscreen partners. Bernardo is now being linked to Mark Alcala, the mayor of Lucena City. Padilla, on the other hand, is being linked to fellow actor, Kaila Estrada.

Bernardo has been mum about the status of her relationship with Alcala. However, the two have been photographed hanging out in public on multiple occasions. Most recently, the rumoured couple was spotted in a mall. The photo shows Bernardo wearing a mask in what appears to be her way of concealing her identity. Alcala, on the other hand, is wearing a cap, a white shirt, and black pants.

Fans no longer seemed surprised at Bernardo and Alcala's recent sighting. After all, they have been rumoured to be dating for two years now. On Reddit, some fans couldn't contain their excitement at the sight of their idol looking happy as ever because Bernardo deserves it.

On Facebook, one user alleged that Bernardo and Alcala started dating in 2024 shortly after her relationship with Padilla ended. In July 2025, the actress and the mayor were photographed at an airport in the Philippines. Since then, they have also been photographed together in another venues such as restaurants.

Predictions for 2026

It is not uncommon for actors in the Philippines to not confirm their real relationship status especially if they are dating someone who's not from the industry. Despite this, a psychic predicted that this year would be huge for Bernardo. The actress will allegedly get pregnant with a baby girl, and the pregnancy may be unplanned.

In terms of her acting career, 2026 will be a slow one for Bernardo, who will allegedly not receive as many projects as she used to.
