Meghan Markle Is Reportedly Dealt a Fresh Blow as Princess Kate Receives Surprise Podcast Invite

Kylie Kelce has publicly invited Princess Kate onto her podcast after the royal's visit to Scotland's Isle of Bute earlier this month, an approach presented in the report as a fresh blow to Meghan Markle.

Reports earlier this year claimed Meghan wanted to attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding but did not receive an invitation. The offer to Kate came from Travis's sister-in-law, although the account provides no response from Meghan to either development.

Kylie's Invitation To Princess Kate

The invitation to Not Gonna Lie followed the Princess of Wales's trip to the Isle of Bute, where she played shinty. Kylie praised her sporting ability before suggesting they discuss hockey and their children.

'Princess Kate just reminded everyone that she's still an absolute boss at field hockey,' Kylie said, adding that the royal appeared 'beautiful doing it'.

She acknowledged the distinction between the sports. 'For everyone in the comments who are about to correct me, I'm aware that she's actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty.'

The host credited Kate's hockey background for the skills on display.

'I'm still calling it a win for field hockey because where do you think she got that skill? Yeah, that's right. She's a field hockey player.'

Kylie then addressed Kate directly, proposing a conversation that would extend beyond sport.

'Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chit-chat about some field hockey and maybe kids. I don't know. We got a couple of things in common.'

Kylie is married to Jason Kelce, brother of Travis, whom the report identifies as Swift's husband. Her invitation also referred to a previous podcast conversation involving their husbands.

In 2024, William celebrated his 42nd birthday by attending Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, his two eldest children. The Kelce brothers later discussed meeting them on their podcast.

Jason singled out Charlotte while also praising her father. 'I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic when I met him, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte.'

He described Charlotte as 'so f------ adorable', suggesting that having daughters of his own might explain why she had made an impression. 'I don't know, maybe it's because I have three girls now,' he said at the time. He also remembered her asking questions during the meeting with the royal family.
