While production on John Wick: Chapter 2 is still underway, actor Keanu Reeves has hinted at the possibility of more sequels in the near future. In the upcoming movie, Reeves, who plays an ex-assassin, once again comes out of retirement. However, this time he comes around to help a friend.

"I love John Wick. We had an amazing time making this story. I can't say that we're not geeked about continuing the idea and the character. We have some really cool ideas. We talk about what would be cool to take it to the next level," the 51-year old actor told Collider.

In the 2014 hit movie, Wick comes out of a self-imposed retirement to hunt down the killer of his pet dog. Reeves's character in the movie was feared by all the underworld criminals of New York City because of his past repute as a dangerous killer. After losing his dog, Wick goes on a manhunt, killing and making his way to the truth. He eventually finds out that the son of a mob boss in New York City had killed his dog. The mob boss tries his best to protect his son but the ex-assassin is too good a killer and eventually kills both the father and the son.

The second chapter of the movie will once again see Wick come out of his retirement to help a former associate, who would be looking to take control of the dangerous international assassins' guild. This time, however, the action takes place in Rome, where Wick will be fighting against the best killers in the world.

The cast of the movie includes Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Riccardo Scamarcio, Ruby Rose, Common and Peter Stormare. Directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theatres on 16 February 2017.
