Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen Sign up for Scary Movie 5

Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen have reportedly signed up for the next instalment of the Scary Movie series, Scary Movie 5.

According to E! , the embattled 26-year-old actress, who recently took on the role Liz Taylor in TV biopic Liz & Dick, has inked a deal to appear in the spoof horror franchise.

Former Two and a Half Men star Sheen will apparently also make a comeback, despite his character Tom Logan apparently being killed off in Scary Movie 4.

The 46-year-old actor is a firm favourite of the franchise and this will be his third stint.

Lohan and Sheen will join High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale who has already been cast in the movie, which is due to be released in April.

Anna Faris, who starred in all four previous instalments, is not expected to return for the fifth film.

The movie will be directed by Malcom Lee and is set to be a complete reboot of the franchise, which has grossed over £500m worldwide.
