Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm has admitted that he would be interested in joining Liverpool and being reunited with former boss Brendan Rodgers.

It was Northern Irishman that signed Vorm from Utrecht in the summer of 2011 when he was relatively unknown, but the Holland international quickly earned rave reviews after a string or impressive performances in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old kept 13 clean sheets in 37 Premier League appearances last season and was voted the club's Player of the Year. Swansea quickly tied him up to a new four year contract last September but it seems he would be interested in once again working with Rodgers at Liverpool.

"A reunion with Rodgers would be special," Vorm is quoted as saying in the Liverpool Echo. "The collaboration was very good last season. But for now Pepe Reina is Liverpool's first goalkeeper, and it is not an issue.

"My name is often mentioned in relation to other clubs. It's all speculation, but they come from somewhere. I wonder what the goalkeeper carousel trigger will bring, but I will swap Swansea only for a real top club in England or abroad."

The Liverpool Echo believe that Swansea would demand around £12million for Vorm so that they could find a suitable replacement for a keeper who has had such an outstanding impact since his arrival at the Liberty Stadium.

Earlier this season Liverpool had been linked with numerous goalkeepers after Pepe Reina endured a difficult spell in which he made a number of high profile errors. However, in recent months the Spaniard has been back to his very best and Rodgers has insisted he remains in his future plans.

"I see him as someone who is going to be here," said Rodgers earlier this month. "He is 30 years of age and is someone who looks after his body. The sports science team this year have worked really well with him. I think he's been outstanding and had great focus and hopefully that will continue for us."

Reina has been linked with a move back to Barcelona, as the Catalans prepare to lose Victor Valdes who is out of contract in the summer of 2014, while Arsenal have also been consistently linked with the 30-year-old.
