UEFA Europa League 2011/2012: Manchester United v Athletic Bilbao Match Preview and Statistics [POLL]

The Red Devils travel to the San Mamés stadium in the Basque country (northern Spain) to face local giants Athletic Bilbao in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the Europa League.

Although Manchester United, who are now at the top of the Premier League table, have been doing well domestically, they have done poorly in all their cup ties, including the Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup this season. After falling to their second consecutive defeat, on home turf, in the Europa League, United, who have been doing better in their away games, will be looking to overturn the first leg deficit.

Meanwhile, the Spanish Lions, who earned a hard-fought 3-2 win in the first leg, have been doing better in cup ties than domestic competitions.
