Michael Schumacher has woken briefly from his coma, his manager has claimed.
Sabine Kehm said Schumacher has had "moments of consciousness" after spending more than three months in a coma.
The seven-time Formula One champion is being treated in Grenoble University Hopsital, where he has been since banging his head on a rock while skiing in the Meribel resort, in the French Alps.
News of his moments of consciousness come one day after Kehm said there were "signs of encouragement" in the 46-year-old's condition.
The sign of progress in Schumacher's condition was reported by the AP agency.
