Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino hopes to keep the good run in their next Premier League game against Chelsea on Wednesday after securing three crucial points in the Sunday's clash with Everton.

Following wins over Hull City and Partizan in the Europa League, Spurs managed to come from behind to secure their third consecutive victory thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Roberto Soldado.

And with the North London side set to visit the leaders on Wednesday, Pochettino is confident of their options to take a positive result from Stamford Bridge.

"We need to keep this mentality and try to show this in the next game against Chelsea," the manager said.

"Today was a very important victory. I think that always you need time to set out your philosophy but today we can be very pleased."

"(Coming from behind) is important. It shows we have character, personality, we are brave. It was very difficult because with their first shot they score and afterwards it's never easy but we were very aggressive in our game and we showed our style."

"It was a good chance to give this present of three points to our fans. It is important to enjoy this feeling with the team.

"Always you need the time to set your philosophy but today we are very pleased with the three points."

Having lost four games at White Hart Lane during the first part of the campaign, Pochettino was very happy for the supporters.

"Today I showed my emotion, I was happy because I know our players suffer a lot and our supporters too," said Pochettino.
