Real Madrid will look to win their first home match of the season against Celta Vigo on 27 August.

Overview

Real Madrid began their league campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Real Sociedad at Anoeta, with Wales forward Gareth Bale scoring twice. The capital club have won their last eight matches at the Santiago Bernabeu across all competitions.

Cristiano Ronaldo is close to attaining match fitness following his late return to training and could feature against Celta Vigo. Karim Benzema remains sidelined with a back problem, but midfielder Luka Modric is back from suspension.

Celta Vigo slumped to a 1-0 defeat against newly-promoted Leganes at Balaidos in their first league match of the season. The Galician outfit have lost their last four head-to-head encounters with Real Madrid.

Iago Aspas suffered a knock in the match against Leganes and is doubtful for the trip to the Bernabeu.
