Dior Tweets Stylish Image of Robert Pattinson's First Dior Home Ad

Robert Pattinson's first ad-work for Dior Homme Fragrance has been released. The 27-year-old London-born Hollywood star is featured in a suit and sitting on the roof of a house, in a black-and-white image.

Dior tweeted the image with this caption: "Live free, fast and strong. Robert Pattinson for Dior Homme Fragrance. Stay tuned..."

The photograph was shot by Nan Goldin.

Pattinson, who played Edward Cullen in the fantastically successful vampire-themed fantasy film series that was Twilight, was revealed as the new face of Dior in June. The Cosmopolitan actor, who will next be seen in Australian Outback drama The Rover, joins Czech model Eva Herzigová and actress Natalie Portman on the list of stars to have represented the haute couture brand.

According to the Mail Online, an 80-second television commercial featuring Pattinson is expected in September. The video was shot by Romain Gavras, the same man who directed music videos for Kanye West and Jay-Z.

Meanwhile, rumours concerning Pattinson and long-estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart continue to circulate. Most recently, Pattinson was spotted leaving the actress' home in Los Angeles, sparking talk of yet another reunion.

The pair reportedly began dating in 2010, while she was filming On The Road. However, the relationship hit a major obstacle after Stewart was found to have cheated with British director Rupert Sanders and despite their best efforts, the two have drifted apart since then, with reports Stewart was planning to sue Pattinson over custody of their dogs probably the final nail.

However, before any further rumours spread, it is understood Pattinson only stopped by to pick up personal belongings. And, according to E!, he chose a time when he knew the house would be empty, so as to avoid unpleasant confrontations.
