Daisy Lowe stole the show at the Strictly Come Dancing 2016 red carpet launch on Tuesday night (30 August) looking every inch the ultimate pin-up girl with her voluptuous curves on display in a flattering scarlet gown.

The 27-year-old fashion model grinned from ear-to-ear as she graced the red carpet at the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, England, as the celebrations got underway for the brand new series, set to commence this Saturday (3 September).

Lowe showcased her buxom cleavage and enviable curves in a mesh and sequin embellished red dress which she paired with gold strappy sandals.

She joined the likes of her showbiz pal Laura Whitmore – clad in a yellow feather-adorned mini dress – who is also starring in the 14th season of the long-running BBC1 show at the launch night.

Irish presenter Whitmore, 31, looked sensational in the yellow beaded backless dress which featured a red hem and jewel-encrusted neckline. She wore her trademark flaxen tresses in a retro-inspired wavy style before joining politician and fellow Strictly contestant Ed Balls for a dance on the red carpet.

Other stars who looked particularly glamorous at the launch included former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp, who stunned in a lilac glittery dress featuring intricate beadwork.

Commenting on her co-stars, she said at the event: "I have met a great group of people this week and it's been such a pleasure!"

The 41-year-old has claimed she is "mega excited" if "petrified" to put on her dancing shoes for the ballroom series.

She said: "I'm going to give it my very best and enjoy what's bound to be a great adventure."

"I never thought I'd have the courage to say yes, but it would be simply silly to turn down the chance to learn to dance with a professional," Munchetty added.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC1 at 6.50pm on Saturday 3 September.
