Teen Choice Awards 2014: Nominee List and Who May Win

Teen Choice Awards 2014 will take place live this Sunday from Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Tyler Posey and Sarah Hyland.

The award show honours the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion and the web.

TCA host Hyland, who plays the popular character Daisy in the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award-winning hit comedy Modern Family, is also a nominee for the Choice TV Female Scene Stealer award.

The award night will glitter with star-studded performances by big names in the entertainment industry.

Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo, MAGIC! and Rixton will rock the stage and entertain millions of viewers watching the show live on Fox.

Show hosts Ryland and Posey are also expected to do a small song-and-dance number during the TCA award ceremony.

This year's nomination is probably the toughest one as popular teen personalities like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Ian Somerhalder will be contending to win the TCA trophy.

Teen fans have already voted for their favourite nominated icons by visiting the award show's official website.

Though it appears a tough task to choose among favourites, speculation is high about who may win the coveted award.

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus appear to be tough contenders but Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder too holds a bright chance of winning the teen award, especially after the huge suspense about his death in Season 5 of the CW's hit series.

Pop queen Rihanna holds a strong chance of winning the Social Media Queen award, especially after her World Cup tweets and controversies and #freepalestine tweet.
