A drug dealer's attempt to send more than three tons (3000 kilos) of marijuana to the Dartford Kent UK was foiled in a police raid in Thailand.

Thai police have seized tons of marijuana worth about 51 million baht worth about 1.64 million in US Dollars, the largest bust of narcotics since the government declared the new round of war on drugs.

The drugs were plainly destined for the UK addressed to Crossways Cargo centre Dartford Kent

The deputy Prime Minister Mr Yubamrung speaking in Thai confirmed that the clear packaging would make an arrest inevitable

"The most important thing is we have a clear evidence and witness for this arrest. The seized marijuana has the brand on label, as well as where this marijuana will be delivered to. It's the serious crime.

Thailand is a leading market and transit point for methamphetamine and other drugs. Authorities have made several seizures of multimillion methamphetamine tablets since the beginning of this year.
