Donald Trump's unusually close relationship with White House aide Natalie Harp has become the subject of eyebrow-raising staffer jokes, leaked photographs and growing questions about just how much access she has to the president.

During a podcast discussion, commentators claimed staffers privately joked about whether Trump was 'spanking' Harp, while describing her closeness to the president as far beyond what they considered a normal staffer relationship.

Harp's Unusual Access to Trump

According to the discussion on the Inside Trump's Head podcast, Harp became a constant presence around Trump during his campaign to reclaim the White House and continued that proximity after he returned to office.

The podcast described her as having a desk directly outside the Oval Office despite reportedly entering the White House without a security clearance. Her role has also reportedly involved helping manage Trump's social media activity and communications.

One speaker pointed to photographs showing Harp repeatedly appearing near Trump at public events and on his properties, arguing that her constant presence has fuelled curiosity among other members of his staff.

'These attacks are originating from inside the Oval Office, inside the West Wing,' Loomer said.

She described Harp as a close friend and praised her performance, saying Trump regarded her as one of his most competent and loyal staffers.

Loomer also suggested that professional jealousy could explain why details about Harp were reaching the media. According to her argument, aides who lack the same relationship with Trump may resent those who have direct access to him.

The competing claims have left Harp caught between two narratives: one portraying her as a highly trusted aide who has earned unusual access, and another portraying her position as evidence of a peculiar power structure inside Trump's inner circle.
