Samsung rolling out Android 5.0 update in more European countries Samsung

The fifth generation Galaxy S series smartphone was the first Samsung Galaxy device to receive the stock Android Lollipop update. The initial roll-out with build number G900FXXU1BNL2 was for users exclusively in Poland, which was released a month back.

Following this, Samsung released a couple of more Android Lollipop builds with performance improvements for the Galaxy S5. The latest among them is build version G900FXXU1BNL9, which Samsung rolled out last week. The G900FXXU1BNL9 build is currently live for users in Poland. Users from South Korea also received the latest Android software.

Now, Samsung has started seeding the Android 5.0 update to users in Spain. In the next few weeks, it will be available to users in more European countries and then to countries in other continents.

Post this, Samsung will start the Android Lollipop roll out for Galaxy Note 4 and other popular Galaxy models, reports Sammobile. Check out the firmware details for the Android 5.0 update in Spain.

The new Android 5.0 version brings a slew of enhancements, including performance improvement, a refreshed visual design in Samsung apps and UI, lockscreen notifications, improved battery performance, multi-user and guest mode support on phones and 64-bit CPU support.
