That's it then! Tottenham can count themselves unlucky here. After Harry Kane's opener they were very much the side in control of the contest against a very lethargic Arsenal side. The home side did manage to find some inspiration, however, with Kieran Gibbs providing the equaliser. A draw means the Gunners have missed the chance to move top of the league after Manchester City were held by Aston Villa earlier today; they sit level on points with Manuel Pellegrini's side.

FULL TIME: Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal are very much the side in cotrol at the minute. Five minutes of normal time remains.

Here's another change for Tottenham with Ryan Mason coming on to replace Alli.

Arsenal have their equaliser! Just off the bench, Gibbs darts in at the near post to get onto the end of a sublime cross from Mesut Ozil, getting enough on the ball to force it home having peeled away from Kyle Walker. Lloris will feel he should have done much better there, the ball looked like it went through him.

Goal! Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham (Kieran Gibbs)

Now Tottenham;s first change with Son coming onto replace Lamela.

Change for Arsenal now as Kieran Gibbs replaces Campbell.

Alderweireled now comes close for Spurs! It comes from an Eriksen corner that the Belgian pounces on but Cech manages to get in the way and make a crucial block to keep his side in it.

Eriksen is picked out in a similar position but this time tries to slot one across goal into the far corner but drags his effort wide. Arsenal look a bit knackered here.

Tottenham close again! Kane, unable to power through himself, switches play to the left to find Rose's onrushing run. He lays it off to Eriksen who smashes one towards the near post, but Cech can bat it away. Alli picks up the rebound but it's a difficult one to take on the bounce and lifts his effort well over the bar.

Giroud close again! Arsenal swing a corner in from the right and the Frenchman again reaches it unmarked but gets too much swerve on his header, nodding it down across goal and out the wrong side of the post.

Petr Cech takes a leisurely stroll outside of his box with the ball at his feet and is almost robbed of possession by Alli! No idea what the Arsenal goalkeeper was doing there.

Giroud hits the bar! Dembele concedes a foul out on the right and Ozil can lift a floating ball into the six yard area. For some reason, Lloris opts against coming out for the ball and Giroud lunges towards it, but can only nod onto the woodwork which it takes it over.

Close from Eriksen! The Dane brings the ball in from the right, plays a neat one two with Kane and fires a vicious effort on goal from a tight angle. It gets a slight deflection of Flamini that lifts its over Cech but it just evades the far post. Spurs corner.

And we are back underway for the second half and Mathieu Flamini, who scored twice against Spurs in the League Cup in September, comes onto replace Santi Cazorla.

HALF TIME: Arsenal 0-1 Tottenham

Vertonghen gets a foot into challenge Giroud ont he edge of his own box but he can oly divert into the path of Cazorla. The Spaniard can shoot from the edge of the box but opts to spread it to the right for Campbell who forces a cross into the six yard area but by the time it finds it way back to Gitroud the Frenchman is offside.

Tottenham have the lead! Rose threads a ball down the inside left channel for Kane who is on side after Koscielny foolishly stepped up, trying to play the striker offside. He wasn'tm however, and shows excellent composure to slot past Cech into the bottom right corner.

Goal! Arsenal 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur (Harry Kane)

Kane is hauled back as he attempts to jink his way past Koscielny. Eriksen lifts a wonderful ball in towards the far post where Dier has emerged unmarked. He should be nodding this back across goal but doesn't get the right contact and the ball skids off his head and hgoes the wrong side of the post.

Dembele, whose fashioned himself into a lethal goalscorer this week, muscles his way into the box and lashes one on goal but it is taken out for a corner. Tottenham work it short, but it ends up with Eriksen overhitting a ball towards the far post and out of play.

Dele Alli is caught in position and Campbell has loads of room to run into. He prods a pass out to Ozil to his left just inside the box but the German's pass across the box is deflected out for a corner. The ball comes in from the left but Mertesacker is judged to have fouled his man and Tottenham get the free kick.

It's been a really lively start from both sides. Dier drives forward at pace, slipping the ball to Lamela who sneaks through for Rose who has popped up out towards the byline. He drives a low cross across goal but Cech reads it well and is out to collect.

Alexis holds the ball and lifts a wonderful ball into the six yard area. It;s a difficult one for Joel Campbell to take down first time and he can't manage it, letting the ball bounce off him and out of play.

Coquelin is robbed of possession by Alli in his own half and drives up the pitch. The ball is shifted to Dembele on the inside left who nudges it inside for Eriksen but the Dane takes too long winding up his shot, allowing Cazorla to nick possession back.

And we are off and underway at the Emirates.

Not long until kick off now, both teams are on their way out of the tunnel onto the pitch.

Manchester City have been held to a 0-0 draw by Aston Villa in Remi Garde's first game in charge. They settle for a point, meaning Arsenal can climb to the top of the table if they beat Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

BREAKING: Laurent Koscielny is fit to start against Tottenham with Mathieu Debuchy retaining his spot at right back in the absence of Hector Bellerin.

Arsenal team to face Tottenham:

In case you are wondering, there is still no sign of Arsenal's line up, which was expected at 3pm.

BREAKING: Son starts on the bench while Clinton Njie misses out completely. Mousa Dembele starts again after his midweek winner.

Tottenham team to face Arsenal: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Alli, Dier; Dembele, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane

Subs: Vorm, Davies, Trippier, Carroll, Mason, Onomah, Son

TEAM NEWS - Tottenham: Son Heung-min came off the bench against against Anderlecht on Thursday and is expected to feature today. Clinton Njie is also poised to return after recovering from a hamstring problem, while Danny Rose is expected to be fit. Midfielder Nabil Bentaleb, who has missed the club's last 12 games, is still looking for full match fitness, according to Mauricio Pochettino, despite the 20-year-old being called up to the Algeria squad for next week's World Cup qualifiers.

TEAM NEWS - Arsenal: Laurent Koscielny will undergo a late fitness test to determine whether he has fully recovered froma hip injury but did train with the first team on Saturday. Hector Bellerin however is unavailable after suffering a groin injury. Mikel Arteta could be back in contention also after recovering from his ankle injury, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck all remain out.

Arsenal may still be licking their wounds after their 5-1 thrashing to Bayern Munich on Wednesday, but there's no better way to recover from that than with a win in a north London derby. With Manchester City currently being held by Aston Villa, Arsene Wenger's side can move to the top of the Premier League with a win this afternoon, but their injury list that left them so exposed in Munich mid-week threatens to undermine their progress further.

Tottenham meanwhile are still undefeated in the league since the opening day of the season, but were dumped out the Capital One Cup by their bitter rivals at the third round stage thanks to an unlikely brace from Mathieu Flamini. Mauricio Pochettino's side have quietly gone about their business this season however and a win in the red half of north London today will lift them above West Ham United and within to a point of fourth placed Manchester United.
