August Alsini fans have raised concerns over the singer's physical wellbeing after he collapsed on stage during a show.
The R'n'B star, who took home Best New Artist at this year's BET Awards, was performing at the Irving Plaza in New York as part of The Testimony tour, when he had the health scare.
It was during a performance of the song, Numb, that he suddenly fainted and fell over into the crowd.
Security at the scene acted quickly and the Ghetto hitmaker was rushed to hospital as shocked fans looked on.
According to eye witnesses, paramedics were later seen entering the venue to treat the 22-year-old star.
Thousands of fans have wished Alsina a speedy recovery. While some suggested dehydration caused the collapse, others claimed that earlier in the day he mentioned that he hadn't had a chance to eat.
Pray for @AugustAlsina everyone he fainted tonight during an NYC performance. That is very scary!

Alsina is not the first entertainer to faint on stage in recent months.
Back in August, rapper Kid Cudi was signing an autograph for a fan at Chicago's North Coast Music Festival when he passed out and was carried away by several security guards.
In 2013, Justin Bieber collapsed on stage during a gig at London's O2 arena but continued the gig after a 20-minute break backstage.
