Marvel may cast the character of Magus, an evil version of Adam Warlock in Avengers: Infinity War Marvel

Even as Marvel Studios has announced the release date of Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, auditions are currently underway for the lead and supporting roles, in Los Angeles.

Reports suggest that Magus may appear as the villainous alter-ego of Adam Warlock, in Infinity Wars Part 1, alongside Titan Thanos.

According to Spoiler TV, Marvel may cast Magus, who is the alternate version of Adam Warlock created to be the heroic yin to Thanos' yang, but then goes insane and becomes evil.

The report also revealed some plot details of the movie. In the two-part sequel, Thanos will play a major role, along with the Magus, who would separate from his body and assembles the Infinity Gauntlet. The villain will create doppelgangers of Earth's heroes as part of his plan to recreate a universe of evil.

Auditions are now getting underway for the Marvel Studios feature film 'Avengers: Infinity War – Part I' lead and supporting roles. The auditions for new lead and supporting roles will be taking place in Los Angeles, CA. The film is the first in a two-part sequel in which Thanos plays a major role, along with the Magus. Adam Warlock's bad side, the Magus, separates from his body and assembles the Infinity Gauntlet. Magus creates doppelgangers of Earth's heroes as part of his plan to recreate a universe of evil. "Avengers: Infinity War – Part I" will be shot entirely on the IMAX/ARRI 2D digital camera.

Previously, Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt had hinted at a possible crossover with The Avengers in Infinity Wars.

Pratt revealed he's sticking around the Marvel Cinematic Universe for quite some time. He told GQ Magazine, "I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple."

Also, there is a possibility that Avengers: Infinity War may feature Star-Lord, primarily because of the Power Stone.

Avengers 3: Infinity War will be released in two parts, the first will hit theatres in May 2018, while the sequel will be released in 2019, Marvel has confirmed.
