Avengers Infinity War is set to unleash high-octane action drama as the heroes from the Earth are set to join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight the greatest threat the universe ever faced. But a series of on-set image leaks have suggested that Marvel is planning to sprinkle a dash of romance in the film.

The filming for Infinity War is undergoing in Edinburgh, Scotland. On Tuesday (18 April), a new set of picture leaked revealing a romantic kiss between Vision (Paul Bettany) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). E Online quoted an eyewitness who claimed that the particular scene was filmed for over 8-9 times where a very human looking Vision got "very close and finally kissed," Olsen's character.

The chemistry between the two Avengers started brewing in Age of Ultron and continued in Captain America: Civil War. Now it appears the couple will profess their love and seal it with a kiss before the facing Thanos.

Infinity War will focus on the Mad Titan's ambition to collect the six infinity stones to fix in the Infinity Gauntlet that would grant him unlimited power over the universe. The film is touted as the culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers 3 is set to include as many as 66 characters as the superheroes band together to fight the supremely powerful Thanos.

Earlier, Infinity War co-screenwriter Stephen McFeely had teased the Mad Titan's fascination to control the universe with the help of the Infinity Gauntlet.

"[Thanos'] goal is to rebalance the universe as he sees it. So when he figures out that the Infinity Stones could do this for him in the snap of a finger, that becomes his main goal," he said in the Doctor Strange Blu-ray special feature.

Directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers Infinity War is scheduled to premiere on 27 April 2018 in the UK. The film will premiere a week later on 4 May in the US.
