Batman v Superman rumours indicating that Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa will be playing Aquaman in the film seem to be getting stronger as new reports surface.

Though the actor hasn't admitted to playing the role yet, during his recent public appearance, he might have just hinted towards the nature of Aquaman's character.

According to Batman-news.com, while speaking at the Evolution Expo this past weekend, Momoa was asked how he feels about playing a superhero like Aquaman. This was his reply:

"I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero. You know? I've always talked about, like, what's your favorite. I mean I love Lobo so... but ah... You know. It would be awesome. I don't know how they do it but... Yea, absolutely I think it would...I just don't really see myself as a superhero."

He continued, "Yeah, no I mean, they're kind of written a little different. I don't know. I just... you know. I'm not wearing a lot of the...I don't see myself in tights a lot. And ah... I'm more of a, I don't know, an anti-hero if you will. In life. So, not the smiling, parading to saving the world kind of guy."

Almost seems like Momoa was trying pretty hard to not give away certain details.

Aquaman has been portrayed as an anti-hero in the comics, and the recent Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice rumours point to this as well, reports Batman-news.

Apparently, Aquaman is out to seek revenge for the destruction caused in the Indian Ocean by the World Engine in Man of Steel.

Even filmmaker Kevin Smith in an earlier interview stated that Aquaman would be a "badass" in the film.

"Well, I think most people of course when they think of f****** Aquaman, they think of the traditional cartoon version, but the current version or incarnation is he's a badass king of the seven seas, a warlord to some degree," said Smith.
