Looks like the eagerly-awaited first trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be revealed in December, 2014.

Batman-on-film.com "insiders" claim the BvS trailer is complete and ready to go.

"The overt hint I got from these folks is that the teaser will be revealed this Fall along with a November or December film release. I have no idea to which specific film it may be 'attached,' but New Line's (which is Warner Bros.' sister company) The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies is being released on December 17, 2014," states the website.

Rumours suggesting that the BvS trailer will be attached to the upcoming Hobbit film have been circulating for a while now. In fact, last week IMAX posted the following tweet on its official Twitter account: (via Inquisitr)

So, even though rumours strongly suggest that the trailer will come out by December this year, it's difficult to say what plans DC and Warner Bros have with regards to the big reveal.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is slated to be released on 25 March, 2016.
