The Beyhive are out in force following reports that their queen Beyonce is the cover star of the new issue of Vogue magazine. A photo of what is believed to be the coveted September issue has been leaked but its legitimacy is yet to be confirmed.

Next to the headline: "Just B: Beyonce and the art of global domination," the 33-year-old singer looks Flawless highlighting her curves in a figure-hugging lavender dress with a sequinned fuchsia coat draped over her right shoulder. Similar to her look in the Drunk In Love music video, the Grammy-winner wears her hair wet and styled into an on-trend lob, also known as a long bob.

Teasing the theme of the September issue, the main headline reads: "Forces Of Fashion: The Rule Breakers Defining The Way We Dress Now." If the cover image is indeed real, it will be the third time queen Bey has graced the front page of the US edition of the fashion bible. The Feeling Myself hitmaker first had the pleasure of fronting the magazine in April 2009, which was photographed by Mario Testino, and again in March 2013, which was shot by Patrick Demarchelier.

It will also make Beyonce the first black female to cover the prestigious September issue and also the third black solo female to appear on the front page in the magazine's entire history following supermodel Naomi Campbell in 1989 and Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry in 2010.

In her 2013 interview with the magazine, Beyonce discussed everything from performing on stage to being a first-time mother to daughter Blue Ivy. Addressing whether she considers herself a feminist, the singer stated: "I don't know. That word can be very extreme. But I guess I am a modern-day feminist. I do believe in equality, and that we have a ways to go and it's something that's pushed aside and something that we have been conditioned to accept. But I'm happily married. I love my husband."

The Vogue cover has also sparked speculation that the singer, who is married to hip hop mogul Jay Z, could be ready to release new music after more than a year from performing and two years since the release of her fifth studio album in December 2013. The leak also came on the same day it was revealed that Beyonce is the most followed celebrity on Instagram with more than 42.9 million followers, beating the likes of Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift.
