Leicester City skipper Wes Morgan will find himself contractually obligated to shout 'There's only one Captain Morgan' every time he orders the drink as part of his bizarre new partnership with the rum brand.

Morgan, 32, played an integral role in Leicester's phenomenal 2015-16 season, where they rose from 5000-1 outsiders to Premier League champions.

The Jamaica international, who played every minute of the league-winning campaign, has now signed a sponsorship deal with rum giant Captain Morgan, a contract that has some rather special clauses in store for the centre-half.

Morgan tweeted a picture of the contract on Thursday (15 November), revealing the details of a section entitled: 'Commitments from the Brand: Drinks On Me."

The contract stipulates "during the term, Wes Morgan shall be entitled to enter licensed premises and purchase a Captain and Cola beverage for each patron in attendance in according with provisions..."

When getting the round in, the Leicester defender "shall turn to face the patrons, extend his arms to form the shape of a "Y" and shout," There's only one Captain Morgan."

Anyone a little too worse for wear will miss out, however, with Morgan also stipulated to tell patrons: "Only anchors go overboard. Please drink responsibility."

Morgan tweeted the picture of his new contract with the message: "Well this could be the best contract I've ever signed."

After last season's highs, Leicester have been struggling with a domestic hangover this year. While a thrilling 4-2 win over Manchester City raised spirits on Saturday, a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Tuesday leaves them just four points off the relegation zone.

The Foxes' European adventure is set to continue next year however, having finished top of their Champions League group in their first ever appearance in the competition. They will meet Sevilla in the round of 16 in February.
