Charlie Kirk Show Co-Host Claims Tucker Carlson Wouldn't Rein In Brother Buckley Over 'Black Magic Ritual' Posts

Blake Neff says he privately asked Tucker Carlson to tell his brother to stop pushing conspiracy claims about Charlie Kirk's death. Carlson, Neff says, refused. The allegation comes after Carlson's younger brother, Buckley Carlson, endorsed a March 2026 post claiming Kirk was killed as part of a 'black magic ritual'.

The post, published by British commentator John Mappin on 11 March 2026, used an aerial image of Utah Valley University with a pentagram drawn over the campus. Buckley replied: 'I buy this. Definitely NOT random. Neither was the repaving 4 days later.'

The claim has not been established as fact, and there is no evidence in the available record that Tucker Carlson endorsed the specific pentagram theory. Neff made the allegations in a 22 September interview with Jeremy Boreing.

Neff, a former Carlson writer who now works as a producer on The Charlie Kirk Show, said he was about 20 feet from Kirk when the conservative activist was shot at Utah Valley University on 10 September 2025.

Neff Says Carlson Refused the Request

Neff said his last communication with Carlson was a private request that Tucker speak to his brother. He said he framed it as a quiet conversation rather than any public criticism.

'The last communication I had with Tucker was: Tucker, just privately, can you ask your brother to just stop pushing this Candace stuff?' Neff said. 'And he wouldn't. He refused to ask.'

Neff's wording referred to wider claims associated with Candace Owens rather than specifically naming Buckley's March post. He nevertheless described the request as part of his effort to stop claims about Kirk's death that he considered false.

Neff said he did not think Carlson would have responded that way earlier in their relationship. 'I don't think Tucker in 2018 would have had that response,' he said, describing what he viewed as the spread of 'incredibly hateful lies about innocent people'.

The dispute followed a series of public clashes between the former colleagues. Politico profiled Neff on 10 September 2026 over his role in the debate surrounding conspiracy claims and free speech.

Carlson criticised Neff on his programme on 16 September, while Owens discussed Carlson's criticism in an 18 September episode of her programme. Carlson's public criticism was tied to the wider free-speech dispute surrounding Neff and the Politico profile. It was separate from the private request Neff says he made about Buckley.

Neff Was Once Carlson's Fox Writer

Neff previously worked as a writer for Carlson at Fox News. He left the network in 2020 after anonymous posts on the AutoAdmit website were linked to him.

Fox News and Carlson condemned the posts, while Carlson also defended Neff's work on his programme. Neff later joined Kirk's operation.

Kirk Death Case Heads to Trial

The criminal case against Tyler Robinson is separate from the media dispute surrounding Kirk's death. Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University on 10 September 2025.

Robinson, 23, has been accused of fatally shooting him and pleaded not guilty after Utah District Judge Tony Graf ruled on 1 September 2026 that the aggravated-murder case could proceed to trial. The charge could carry the death penalty if Robinson is convicted. Robinson remains legally presumed innocent.

The private communication described by Neff has not been independently established. Carlson's representatives were contacted by the Daily Mail for comment on the allegations, according to reporting published with excerpts from the interview.
