Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon has been released from rehab and it was fortunately a successful stint, with his rep claiming he is "a completely different person".

Josey Crews, a rep for Gordon, has confirmed to the New York Daily News that the 26-year-old left the rehab facility on 23 April and is staying with family while continuing his sobriety mission.

Crews revealed: "He's doing great. He's a completely different person. His outlook on life is completely different."

According to the publicist, Gordon is still determined to visit Brown in hospital, adding: "That's always been a priority for him."

Just a few days after his release from rehab, Gordon made a return to Twitter on 27 April and appeared to be in a positive mindset, writing:

As Bobbi Kristina remained in a coma at an Atlanta medical facility, TV therapist Dr Phil hosted an intervention for Gordon in March, following reports of troubled behaviour.

Gordon's mother Michele Gordon joined her son during the episode and admitted her fears for his safety, telling Dr Phil: "He just wants to die." A source recently echoed similar sentiments, telling the NYDN: "Things got really bad with him. It was life or death. He was drinking so much Jack Daniels. This was about saving his life."

Earlier in April, Brown's father Bobby Brown appeared to hint that his daughter had come out of her coma, telling the audience at his concert that the youngster was "awake".

However, her grandmother Cissy Houston shattered hopes that the 22-year-old would make a full recovery, claiming that she has "irreversible brain damage".

The daughter of Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia on 31 January. Her famous mother was found dead in similar circumstances at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on 11 February 2012.
