Bollywood's much-loved couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's relationship might have hit a rough patch as rumours have surface speculating a split between them. According to reports, the Indian movie stars, whose chemistry is admired both on-screen and off-screen, might have called quits on their romance after Singh, in candid interview spoke about his past relationships.

The 31-year-old actor recently wrapped work on his upcoming film Befikre in Paris and spoke about his wedding plans and past relationships. Speaking with India Today, Singh seemed to avoid the topic of "commitment" and future plans with the xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage actress.

"I think about these things (getting married)... you know you think about the future, it's only natural, you think about things like being a family man, and stuff like what do the next five years hold for me, these thoughts... I mean I'm 31 now, it's only natural that these thoughts are occurring to me," the Bajirao Mastani actor revealed.

However, when the Filmfare Award-winning actor was asked if he would describe his "changed" person as a "committed guy", Singh appeared to be dodging a direct response. "Well, my outlook on romantic relationships has evolved - let's just put it that way," he explained.

The Ramleela co-stars' alleged break up news had been doing the rounds for long, and such a smart-mouthed answer on the topic of romance with Padukone is not the first from the actor, as noted by the publication.

"You have assumed that I have a girlfriend. I had come many years ago with my girlfriend. I have also had a Parisian girlfriend by the way. A beautiful Moroccan girl," Singh was quoted as saying when asked about his vacation with Padukone.

The otherwise flamboyant duo, who have never shied from showcasing their real-life chemistry in public, have been quiet on the social media as well. With big movies around the corner, the two of them have not shared trailers for each other's projects as well.

Previously, the 30-year-old had gone on record to deny engagement and marriage rumours. "I am not pregnant, I am not engaged, I am not married. I am not planning to get married any time soon," she had said.

While the news has not been confirmed by either of the superstars, both Padukone and Singh are set to star in another Bollywood project, Padmavati which is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
