Pop icon Britney Spears has begun her two-year residency at Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Spears is scheduled to perform 50 shows every year in 2014 and 2015. The songstress took to Twitter to share her excitement.
"I've got chills. Last dress rehearsal for friends and family before opening night tmw. #1DayTillShowtime," she tweeted.
"Can't believe the 1st show is almost here!!! #PieceOfMe," was another one of her tweets.
Besides, the singer has opened a Britney Spears themed boutique where her fans can snap up Spears memorabilia and Sin City souvenirs, like mugs, keychains, tees and presumably, shot glasses. The boutique will also be selling coffee mugs that say: "It's Vegas, bitch."
Sources have told entertainment website TMZ that Spears's act will bring a "cool, hip club-like show" feel to the table and change on a regular basis. The agreement, incidentally, also calls for Spears to appear at pool parties at the nightclub.
"The plan is for Britney to begin the shows around New Years Eve with a huge concert on the last night of the year. It's a very exciting time in Britney's life and she has never been better," sources close to the Toxic singer explained.
Meanwhile, Spears has finally released her set list. It is as follows.
1. Work Bitch
4. Oops... I Did It Again
5. ...Baby One More Time
6. Me Against The Music
7. Slave 4 U
10. Scream and Shout
11. Till The World Ends

16. I Wanna Go
19. If U Seek Amy
20. Get Naked (I Got A Plan)

24. Gimme More
The opening show is said to be a 100-minute show featuring 24 songs, a four-piece band and 14 backup dancers.
"It's kind of tough because the fans want a certain selection of songs and many of them want to hear the old hits. But then for me I have to keep it fresh to do the show so I have to incorporate some of the new stuff. I hope my fans get a personal feeling from the show and a piece of me, a piece of my soul because I am putting my heart and soul into this," spears stated.
She added: "This year I have new choreographers. They're fresh and upcoming guys so their stuff is really hard. It's more rewarding after you perform something that's really hard to do rather than something that you just throw together."
