The Capital One Cup is reaching the penultimate stage of the competition with the semi-final draw upon us. 2014's finalists Chelsea, who were the eventual winners, and Tottenham Hotspur are no more in the running, thus ensuring a new winner.

Last year saw Championship side Sheffield Wednesday make the semi-finals, but this year, it will be four Premier League clubs in the final four following Manchester City, Everton and Stoke City's win over Championship sides Hull City, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday respectively. The final semi-finalist will be one of Liverpool or Southampton, who play their quarter-final clash at St Mary's on Wednesday evening (2 December).

The semi-final draw for the Capital One Cup will follow on Sky Sports 1 and HD 1 after the last quarter-final clash between Southampton and Liverpool, which begins at 7.45pm GMT.

Semi-finals – first-leg and second-leg dates

The semi-finals will take place over two legs with each side playing home and away. The first-leg will take place during the week starting 4 January 2016, while the second-leg will be played during the week starting 25 January 2016.

The Final

The finals will take place at Wembley Stadium on 28 February 2016.
