Barcelona will look to win their third match on the bounce when they face Celta Vigo at Balaidos on 2 October.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7.45pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 5 HD.

Overview

John Guidetti and Daniel Wass scored to help Celta Vigo beat Panathinaikos 2-0 in the Europa League on 29 September – the Galician outfit's third straight win in all competitions. Eduardo Berizzo's side beat Barcelona 4-1 in the corresponding fixture last season, courtesy of goals from Guidetti, Iago Aspas and a Nolito brace.

Carles Planas, Fabian Orellana and Claudio Beauvue are all out through injury for the hosts.

Goals from Arda Turan and Gerard Pique helped Barcelona come from behind to beat Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League in midweek. The Catalan giants are on an eight-match winning run in away matches across all competitions.

Lionel Messi (groin) and Samuel Umtiti (knee) remain absent for the visitors.

What managers say

Eduardo Berizzo: "We won a tough match [against Panathinaikos], as they will all be in this competition. We faced a team with prestige and history. In the first half we had no circulation of the ball, but when we corrected it tactically we felt more comfortable. From there we managed to make runs and find spaces to the back of their defence."

Luis Enrique: "I sincerely believe the result [against Borussia Monchengladbach] was fair. It wasn't easy to win here. I want to remind you they were 18 games unbeaten at home, including 11 straight wins – so you can see how tough it is to win here. We made the substitutions to try and open the pitch up and to get players between the lines. In the second half we were better positioned on the pitch than in the first half."
