Harry Styles used his famous charm to get into The Late Late Show With James Corden on Monday night (15 May). The One Direction star has landed himself a week-long stint on the popular US talk show, co-hosting alongside his close friend and comedian Corden.

In the opening sketch, Styles is seen entering the studio building in Los Angeles and approaching the security, played by iCarly actress Mindy Sterling, at the front desk. Despite being a global superstar, the guard does not believe him to be the real Harry Styles and questions why he is not travelling with his One Direction bandmates, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

With the guard still unconvinced, Styles unleashes his charm offensive. Aided by seductive music in the background, the 23-year-old stares flirtingly into the security officer's eyes and successfully manages to use his boyish good looks to work his way into the building. Still swooning after Styles, the security later refuses entry to host Corden and refuses to fall for his flirting tactic.

Later in the show, Styles plays a game of Flinch alongside British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson in which they had to remain composed while having fruit thrown at them as they sip tea.

The fun soon became slightly awkward when Taylor-Johnson revealed he has named chickens after the Kardashian-Jenner family. Never one to miss an opportunity, Corden asks Styles: "So, do [the Kardashian-Jenners] lay every day, Harry?" making the singer squirm due to him having previously dated model Kendall Jenner. Rounding off the show, Styles delivered a stunning performance of his latest single Sign Of The Times.

Much to the delight of fans, Corden, 38, confirmed Styles will appear in the latest installment of his popular segment, Carpool Karaoke, on 18 May. It is expected that the pop star will sing tracks from his self-titled debut solo album, including the chart-topping Sign Of The Times, Sweet Creature, Carolina and Ever Since New York.

Styles' solo career has launched triumphantly with the musician cruising towards number one on the UK album chart. According to the Official Charts Company, the eponymously-titled record is currently at least 24,000 copies ahead of Ed Sheeran's Divide, which is currently at number two having lost its long-running reign atop the chart earlier in May.
