CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds will air its Season 9 finale tonight and as promised, it is sure to be an action-packed cliff-hanger episode.
The finale episode titled Demons will start from where the previous episode, Angel, ended. In last week's shocking episode, Spencer Reid and Derek Morgan were shot by the Preacher (suspect) during a crossfire.
"It is a little dramatic, I was a little surprised they showed Reid awake. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything," show creator Erica Messer told TVGuide.
Entertainment site Enstarz suspects that in Demons, the enemy might try to kill Reid in the hospital. According to the website, the season would see a major character death during its finale.
The episode will also see some courageous stunts by Penelope Garcia as she tries to save a fellow agent. Breathecast suspects that Garcia's journey might end in Season 9 with a 'heroic death'.
Meanwhile, BAU(Behavioral Analysis Unit) will learn that the Preacher is only getting framed by the 'unsub' and the crimes extends beyond these two.
The synopsis for Criminal Minds season 9 finale episode Demons via Enstarz reads:
"The BAU continues its murder investigation in Texas, and clues uncover a deep web of corruption that could be the motive for the killings. Meanwhile, as one team member's life hangs in the balance, another concerned BAU member must face a sad secret from the past, and Garcia is thrust into action to save a colleague, on the conclusion of the two-part ninth season finale of Criminal Minds."
CBS also offers the full episodes online their website the very next day after the finale telecast. Click here to watch.
