Who Are the Da Vinki Twins?
Da Vinki twins are identical twin brothers and internet personalities from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada whose real names are Chris and Patrick Vörös. They are Hungarian‑Canadian by background and originally made a name for themselves as professional wrestlers.
They debuted in the ring around 2013 and competing in promotions like Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling and appearing in All Elite Wrestling broadcasts.
Their viral fame, however, came from social media, especially a TikTok video from 2020 in which they were asked 'Who painted the Mona Lisa?' and confidently mispronounced Leonardo da Vinci as 'Da Vinki.'
The clip grew into an internet meme because of their enthusiastic delivery and became a signature catchphrase associated with them online. Soon, they became known as Da Vinki Twins.
Since then, they've built a large following by posting quirky videos, sketches and challenge content.
ICE's Effort to Cleanse Its Image
ICE has faced a lot of criticism this year for its strict deportation practices and actions that led to several deaths. To try and improve its image, ICE reportedly planned a £80 million ($100 million) media campaign, according to The Guardian.
The goal was to encourage more people to join the agency and to make its work look more positive, especially to audiences who support stricter immigration enforcement. 'They're aiming for that sweet spot of people who've got something to prove, who want to have that power, under the guise of patriotism,' a marketing professor from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School said.
At the same time, ICE leaders have been speaking publicly to defend their policies, insisting that criticism won't stop their work. They are trying to control the story and show the agency in a better light.
However, many local officials, activists, and lawmakers are still opposing ICE. Protests continue in cities like Denver and Minneapolis, and legal challenges are ongoing. So even with these PR efforts, ICE is still facing a lot of public resistance.
