Freshly released documents from the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) have shed new light on the relationship between disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

The files, which include drafted emails and letters, contain explosive allegations. Among the most serious claims is that Bill Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease (STD) and requested antibiotics to treat his then-wife, Melinda Gates, without her knowledge.

The Allegations Of Secret Medication

The documents, released as part of a larger cache of files regarding Epstein's activities, feature a draft letter dated July 2013. In this text, the writer—believed to be Epstein drafting a message for a mutual associate or keeping a record of events—confronts Gates about his behaviour. The text specifically references a request Gates allegedly made regarding an illness.

According to the files, the letter states that Gates implored the writer to 'delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda'. The word 'surreptitiously' means to do something secretly or without anyone noticing. The implication is that Gates allegedly intended to give his wife medical treatment for a sexually transmitted infection without telling her the truth about his condition or where the medicine came from.

The 'Boris' Connection And The Threat Of Exposure

The text appears to be written from the perspective of Boris Nikolic, a former science advisor to Bill Gates and a close associate who was named as a backup executor in Epstein's will. The draft letter addresses 'Bill' directly and discusses a resignation from 'BG3' (a reference to Gates's circle). It reads like a tool for blackmail or leverage during a contract dispute.

The author of the letter complains about being asked to participate in a 'cover up' to maintain the 'reputation that you have worked so hard to achieve'. The document suggests that Epstein was aware of—and perhaps orchestrating—a strategy to ensure his associates were paid handsomely for their silence. The letter notes, 'I assumed the dedication to our relation ran both ways,' highlighting the transactional nature of their friendship.

Claims Of Inappropriate Behaviour And 'Russian Girls'

Beyond the medical claims, the emails paint a picture of a chaotic personal life. The documents allege that Gates asked his staff to engage in activities that were 'morally inappropriate' and potentially illegal. One particularly damaging section of the email, sent from Epstein's account with the subject line 'bill', claims the writer helped Gates 'get drugs' to deal with the 'consequences of sex with russian girls'.

It further alleges that the associate facilitated 'illicit trysts' with married women. These files suggest that Epstein was gathering damaging information, or "kompromat", on powerful figures like Gates. The mention of 'Russian girls' and secret meetings stands in stark contrast to the public image of the tech mogul during that period.

Fears Of A Public Divorce

The documents also reveal that those around Gates were deeply concerned about the possibility of a divorce long before it actually happened. The letter warns that if Melinda decided to 'file for a public divorce', the damage to the 'pledge program' (likely referring to the Giving Pledge) would result in 'billions of dollars of money no longer being used for social good'.

The writer argues that Gates's voice would be 'stifled' and that charity programmes would suffer. This suggests that the silence of Gates's inner circle was often justified by the idea that protecting his reputation was necessary for his charitable work to continue. Bill and Melinda Gates eventually announced their divorce in May 2021, ending 27 years of marriage.

A Pattern Of Transactional Friendship

The overarching theme of the newly released text is money and silence. The writer demands a severance package 'similar to that of Christine Turner' and suggests a payout of 30 million dollars to buy out an investment contract. The letter frames this payment as 'generous compensation for keeping the gates reputation intact'.

Epstein's involvement in drafting or storing these letters indicates he played a central role in managing the secrets of the world's wealthiest men. While Bill Gates has previously admitted that spending time with Epstein was a 'huge mistake', these specific details regarding STDs and secret medications add a new layer of scrutiny to their association.
