More than a 1000 people gathered in Bali to pay tribute to the 202 people from 21 nations who died in the Bali bombings, blamed on al- Qaeda linked militant group, on the 10th anniversary of the attack.

The tribute held at the Wisnu kencana cultural park saw relatives and friends gather to remember their family and loved ones.

The Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, former PM John Howard and opposition leader Tony Abbott all attended the commemorations. To pay tribute to the 88 Australians who were among the dead. Ms Gillard also acknowledged Indonesia's role in bring the terrorists to justice .
