The Islamic State (Isis) is reported to have released a new video that purportedly shows the beheading of an alleged member of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF). The PMF is believed to be an Iraqi state-sponsored umbrella organisation comprising some 40, almost exclusively Shiite, militia.

According to Terror Monitor, the alleged PMF man was captured from the Iraqi city of Baiji under the Saladin Governorate, which is 254km from the capital Baghdad.

The PMF was set up to fight the Islamic State (Daesh), a Sunni Muslim terror group, but they themselves have been accused of sectarian violence against Sunni Muslims. According to Heavy.com, in the video, titled The Most Evil Creation, the terror group tries to "play up sectarian violence" before one of the IS terrorists beheads the so-called PMF fighter, who can be seen in an orange jumpsuit, on his knees, and his hands tied behind his back.
