Heartbreak Hotel? Taylor Swift and Harry Styles Split after One Month

Pop stars Taylor Swift and Harry Styles have reportedly ended their whirlwind romance after just a month.

The US country songbird and the One Direction heartthrob, who jetted off to the British Virgin Islands on New Year's Day, are believed to have called time on their brief fling after a furious row on holiday.

"Yes, I can confirm they have split up," a source told the Daily Mail.

"They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future?"

Taylor was photographed flying back to the US ahead of schedule after cutting the holiday short.

In images obtained by the Daily Mail, the Red singer looks glum as she sits alone on a boat as it departs the island of Virgin Gorda.

Cheshire-born Styles in contrast appeared to bask in his new-found freedom.

The 18-year-old cougar lover stayed on alone and continued partying with fellow guests. He also made a trip to neighbouring Necker island to visit Virgin boss Richard Branson.

"Richard Branson heard Harry was staying nearby so invited him to come check out Necker," a source told Business Insider.

"So when Taylor left for the states, Harry went to Branson's island for the day to let off some steam."

Swift, who previously dated actor Taylor Lautner and singer Joe Jonas, is known for becoming emotionally attached to boyfriends very quickly.

If her hit We are Never Ever Getting Back Together is anything to go by, the couple will not be reuniting anytime soon.
