Juventus will look to continue their perfect start to the season when they face Inter Milan in the Derby d'Italia at the San Siro on 18 September.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 5pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2.

Overview

Mauro Icardi's brace gave Inter Milan their first win of the season at Pescara on 11 September, but the 18-time Italian champions followed that up with a dispiriting 2-0 defeat at home against Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Europa League in midweek. The Nerazzurri have lost three of their last five head-to-head meetings with Juventus.

Cristian Ansaldi and Marco Andreolli are sidelined for the hosts through injury, but winger Ivan Perisic is available after recovering from a muscle problem. Marcelo Brozovic has been left out of the squad by Frank de Boer over disciplinary issues.

Gonzalo Higuain was anonymous as Juventus were held to a scoreless draw at home by Sevilla in the Champions League on 14 September. The Bianconeri were beaten 3-0 by Inter at the San Siro in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final in March, but the Old Lady went on to win the tie 5-3 on penalties.

Midfielders Claudio Marchisio and Stefano Sturaro (both knee) are sidelined through injury for the visitors.

What managers say

Frank de Boer: "Pressure is to be expected at Inter. We're working hard to make sure we improve. I'm convinced that we will put Inter back where it belongs. We're up against a very strong side, everyone knows that. I have great respect for what Juventus have achieved. We analyse all our opponents with the same level of care, no matter who they are. You will see how we play on Sunday. The game against Juventus is a special one for us all. The stadium will be full and we will feel the support of our fans."

Massimiliano Allegri: "It will be a beautiful game as we are playing the Derby d'Italia and it will be the first turning point in the title race. It's the first turning point for winning the championship. Someone could think we are only at the fourth game-week and therefore it won't be decisive yet for the title but I don't agree. Inter against Juventus is the first big moment in the title race."
