Jennifer Lawrence seems to have a new man in her life as reports suggest that the Hunger Games actress could be dating director Darren Aronofsky. The duo, who are working on an untitled project – starring Ed Harris and Javier Bardem – sparked romance rumours after being spotted together on a lunch date in August.

According to a report by People magazine, "They've been hanging out and are casually dating." Although Lawrence and the Black Swan director could be spending time together over their upcoming movie, but rumours seem to suggest otherwise.

Another report quoted a source as saying, "Jennifer and Darren have tried to keep things low-key and under wraps but they are really into each other. Recently Jennifer was working on a grueling project and she relied on Darren for support and they were in constant contact. It seemed to show they were the real deal."

Previously the 26-year-old actress was linked with singer Chris Martin, with whom she shared an on-again and off-again relationship, before finally calling it quits in August 2015. Apparently the Coldplay frontman's "noncommittal" nature was the cause of the breakup. Before dating Martin, Lawrence was in a five-year relationship with her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.

But if the rumours turn out to be true and if actress is indeed dating the director, then the latest man in Lawrence's life would be nothing like her ex-boyfriends. In fact, even she had commented on her "type" and "patterns" earlier while talking about her former love interests during an interview.

"Patterns are the work of the devil," said Lawrence adding, "If I think about all of my ex-boyfriends, they are all so uncomparable."

The 47-year-old director, who also helmed projects such as Noah and Requiem for a Dream has a 10-year-old son with his ex-fiancée Rachel Weisz.
