A gossip tabloid is claiming that Kate Middleton is expecting a baby girl.

The cover of Star magazine reads: "Pregnant Kate, It's a Girl!

Adding on, the publication claimed that her young sister Pippa Middleton threw a small, pink-themed baby shower for the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge.

"There were pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake," a source told the magazine, according to Hollywood Life. "Pink sponge [cake] and strawberry filling."

Prince George was also at the party and was enjoying the desserts at the event.

"He had pink icing all around his mouth and everyone was taking photos of him," the source continued.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that the Duke of Cambridge and Kate, who will welcome their second baby in April, are planning to have a communal children's playroom at their Norfolk mansion.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton had previously revealed that the couple will name their second child Diana, if it's a girl.

"Close friends to William and Kate have told me that if it is a girl they want to name the baby after Diana. They discussed girls' names before George was born and now they're hoping the next one is a girl so they can carry out their wish to honour William's mother.

"They're not too thrilled at the thought it will be shortened to Princess Di. But it won't change their minds," Morton told The Sun.
