Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish have welcomed their first child together, with the comedian sharing the good news on his Twitter page.

Hart, 38, revealed to his 35 million followers on the social media platform that the couple – who married last year – decided on the name Kenzo Kash Hart for their newborn son.

He said: "God is good. Overwhelmed with joy & emotion right now!!!!!! #Harts'.

Hart also shared the message on Instagram with the caption; "God is good. Overwhelmed with joy & emotion right now!!!!!! #Harts".

Fans congratulated the star in their droves, with one person telling him: "Congratulations to the Harts God bless your family. Amen!"

While another said: "Congratz but God has nothing to do with that ".

A third added: "Blessings....don't fck this up . Wink", possibly referring to his indiscretions earlier this year.

Hart made headlines a few months ago for a "sextortion" cheating scandal where 27-year-old Montia Sabbag admitted to having an "intimate relationship" with the comedian.

The married couple have put on a united front ever since, however, with Hart gushing about his wife online in a slew of romantic selfies. He captioned one: "#WCW #Beautiful #ForeverMyRib #Flawless #StrongestWomanOnThePlanet #MyWife #Harts #DopePic .....P.S i told them to edit my feet out but i don't think they listened to me #MyFeetLookLikeOldLadyHands."

The announcement of the Hart's latest arrival comes a week after the comedian bolted in the middle of a radio interview when he was falsely told his wife was going into labour.

He later tweeted: "No labor yet guys....false alarm. We are getting close tho. Waiting patiently for the arrival of our little man!!! #Harts."

Hart was previously married to Torrei Hart, who he shares two children with, daughter Heaven and son Hendrix. They divorced in November 2011.
