In this week's A-List Insider:

Taylor Swift takes on Apple, Kim Kardashian reveals the sex of her second child and Zayn Malik teams up with Krept and Konan.

Taylor Swift takes a bite out of Apple

When Taylor Swift is not busy making hits, she is changing the music game one Tumblr post at a time. The pop star recently called out Apple over its refusal to pay artists during free trials of its new Music streaming service and, guess what, they listened.

After the 25-year-old singer threatened to hold back her latest hit album, 1989, from the service in an open letter that went viral, the tech giant had a change of heart.

Apple Music has since reversed its payment policy and now plans to pay artists and labels during its three-month trial period.

Following her landmark victory, Swift took Twitter to thank both Apple and her supporters, telling her 59 million Twitter followers: "I am elated and relieved. Thank you for your words of support today. They listened to us."

Proud boyfriend Calvin Harris responded to the news by tweeting: " I just played a gig inside an owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry. What a day."

Now that, my friends, is power. Taylor 1, Apple 0.

Kim Kardashian expecting a boy

And over in the world of reality TV, Kim Kardashian has confirmed the sex of her second child. After weeks of speculation, the 34-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star confirmed rumours that she is indeed expecting a boy this time around.

She took to Twitter on Father's Day to post a photo of her husband Kanye West reading to their daughter North West with the caption: "Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!"

The real question is will West be changing any nappies?

Krept & Konan team up with Zayn Malik

And finally, UK rap duo Krept & Konan have revealed they have been busy in the studio with former One Direction star Zayn Malik.

During a recent interview with A-List, the stars said they teamed up with 22-year-old in 2014 before he quit One Direction in March and they even made a video to accompany the track.

"We were just messing around one day and made the cover. I have a feeling the video will just get leaked somehow." Krept said.

The news comes just weeks Malik's cover of US hip-hop act Rae Sremmurd's 2014 single No Type emerged online.
