The attacked Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which was on its way from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, was carrying 298 people on board.

The airlines is facing the second air disaster in five months after the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370 on 8 March, 2014.

All of the crew were Malaysians, while 154 passengers were Dutch, 24 Australians, 23 Malaysians, 11 Indonesians, nine Britons, four Germans, four Belgians, three Filipinos and one Canadian (248 accounted for), as informed by Huib Gorter, the vice president of Malaysian Airlines.

Meanwhile, a video shot and posted by an on-board passenger expressed his jitters while flying home, the Star.com reported.

In the 14-second video, Md Ali Md Salim, expressed his nervousness while on board the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. The 30-year-old uploaded the video on Instagram and it shows other passengers settling inside the doomed flight and stowing their baggage in the overhead compartments.

Salim's captioned his Instagram video saying: "Bismillah... #hatiadasikitgentar (In the name of God... feeling a little bit nervous)."
