Michael Rapaport Spells Out 'H-A-T-E' in Foul-Mouthed Ms. Rachel Attack: 'You Hate Jews'

Michael Rapaport has launched an expletive-filled attack on children's YouTube star Ms. Rachel in a video uploaded to his Instagram account, mimicking her trademark educational style as he accused her of spreading misinformation and declared: 'You hate Jews.'

The actor and comedian turned spelling, counting and singing into a profanity-laced takedown of Rachel Griffin Accurso, better known as Ms. Rachel, repeatedly calling her 'crazy' and 'kooky'. His remarks mark another flashpoint in the backlash surrounding the creator's outspoken advocacy for Palestinian children in Gaza.

In the video posted to his Instagram account, Rapaport began his tirade by asking viewers whether they could spell 'kooky' before slowly spelling out 'K-O-O-K-Y' in a clear imitation of the learning exercises that have made Ms. Rachel one of the internet's best-known children's entertainers.

He then accused the YouTuber of making up claims 'about Jewish people and others' and spreading 'lies and misinformation'.

Rapaport escalated his criticism by spelling out another word.

'Because you hate. H-A-T-E,' he said, before telling Ms. Rachel: 'You hate Jews.'

The allegation was presented by Rapaport without evidence in the remarks. Ms. Rachel has previously explicitly rejected accusations that she is antisemitic and has publicly condemned antisemitism.

Rapaport Mimics Ms. Rachel's Children's Videos

Rapaport repeatedly borrowed from the format of Ms. Rachel's educational content during the attack, even counting 'one, two, three' while referring to her videos teaching children how to sing, dance and count.

He ended by breaking into a mocking song calling the YouTuber 'crazy', while continuing to use explicit language.

The routine appeared designed to parody the teaching style that helped make Ms. Rachel a major online personality. Her content focuses largely on early childhood development through songs, repetition and interactive lessons.

Ms. Rachel Has Faced Backlash Over Gaza Advocacy

Ms. Rachel has increasingly used her platform to advocate for children affected by the war in Gaza, a shift that has attracted both support and criticism.

She told The Guardian in September that accusations of antisemitism following her Gaza advocacy had left her 'confused and devastated'. She said caring about Palestinian children did not mean she cared any less about Jewish children and stressed her 'deep love' for all children.

Speaking to PBS in 2025, she similarly said that 'deeply caring' about children facing starvation did not mean she cared less about other children.

Ms. Rachel has also previously expressed sympathy for Jewish victims and the families of Israeli hostages. In 2025, she wrote that her heart was with the Bibas family and Jewish community following the deaths of Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who had been taken hostage during the 7 October Hamas attacks.

Ms. Rachel Previously Denied Antisemitism After Instagram Controversy

The YouTube star faced another controversy in early 2026 after her Instagram account appeared to 'like' an antisemitic comment.

Ms. Rachel apologised and said she had accidentally pressed the like button while attempting to delete the remark.

'I hate antisemitism,' she wrote, adding that she was 'against all forms of hate including antisemitism against the Jewish people'.

Rapaport, meanwhile, has become a prominent and outspoken supporter of Israel since the 7 October 2023 attacks, frequently using social media to address antisemitism, the Israeli hostages and criticism of Israel.
