Lady Gaga Branded 'Disgusting' as Fans Expose Haus Labs' Israel Sales and Links To Israeli Investors

Lady Gaga is facing a fresh wave of online backlash after fans dug into Haus Labs' business links to Israel, pointing to the beauty brand's official shipping list and its backing from Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Some critics have branded the singer and her cosmetics company 'disgusting' while questioning what they see as a contradiction between the brand's public image and its commercial relationship with Israel.

However, the claims circulating online go further than what has been publicly established, with no evidence found of Haus Labs making an official political declaration supporting Israel.

Fans Turn Haus Labs' Israel Shipping Into a New Flashpoint

The controversy gained traction on social media after users highlighted that Haus Labs officially lists Israel among the countries where it ships its products.

According to the brand's own shipping information, Haus Labs currently delivers to more than 100 countries and territories, including Israel. The list also includes countries across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa.

One user wrote: 'meanwhile cecred never shipped there', apparently contrasting Haus Labs with another beauty brand.

Another account simply called the situation 'embarrassing' before sharing a post accusing the brand of allowing 'THE ISRAELI BOTS ACTIVATION'.

The posts reflect online criticism rather than an official finding that Haus Labs supports the Israeli government or its policies.

Haus Labs Really Was Backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners

The investment connection being discussed by fans is real. Lightspeed Venture Partners announced its investment in Lady Gaga's beauty company, then known as Haus Laboratories, in 2019. Lightspeed described the deal as an investment in Gaga's beauty startup and said it was supporting the company's vision.

Lightspeed's own portfolio also lists Haus Laboratories as a company it backed at Series A stage. PitchBook has reported that Haus Labs raised a total of $10.4 million, (£7.8 million) at the 18 September 2026 exchange rate of roughly $1 to £0.748.

But the existence of that investment does not, by itself, establish that Israeli investors directly funded Haus Labs or that Gaga endorsed Israeli government policy.

Lightspeed Has a Longstanding Presence in Israel

Lightspeed has operated in the Israeli technology market for decades and has maintained an office and investment team there. In 2020, Calcalist reported that the firm had been actively investing in the Israeli economy for more than 20 years, with partners based in Herzliya.

Lightspeed itself has also described Israel as one of its global locations and says its US, European and Israeli operations form part of its broader investment platform. Its Israeli team has included professionals with backgrounds in the Israel Defense Forces.

Gaga Has Also Performed in Israel Before

The singer has performed in the country, including a major concert at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park in September 2014. Reports at the time said around 20,000 fans attended, with Gaga speaking to the audience in Hebrew.

During that performance, she told the crowd, 'I love you' in Hebrew and also expressed affection for Israel during the show.

There is no identified official Haus Labs statement in the material reviewed declaring support for Israel or announcing political donations to the Israeli government.
