Friday Practice Review
Pedrosa dominated Friday's session as he was the fastest during free practice 1 and free practice 2. The Honda rider clocked in a time of 2:00.554 while his teammate and championship leader Marc Marquez was second, trailing his compatriot by half a second.
Britain star and Tech 3 rider Cal Crutchlow was the third quickest at Sepang on Friday after clocking 2:01.423. He will be looking to impress during Saturday's qualifying session to take pole at Sunday's race.
Defending champion Jorge Lorenzo failed to make it to the top three during Friday's session as he managed to finish sixth during the Free Practice 2. The Yamaha rider's teammate Valentino Rossi was fourth while Britain rider Bradley Smith managed to finish in top ten.
