In this week's Music Minute, we take an in-depth look at the 2016 Grammy nominations. Hip hop superstar Kendrick Lamar leads the way after scoring 11 nominations, including album of the year for To Pimp a Butterfly and song of the year for Alright.

Following closely behind him is Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, with seven nominations each. Taylor is up for song of the year with Blank Space while Can't Feel My Face by The Weeknd is up for record of the year.

And there have been some surprises as well. Fetty Wap was completely snubbed from best new artist category while Drake's song Back To Back, which was meant to be a diss track aimed at Meek Mill, received a nomination.

The 2016 Grammys will be taking place on 15 February in Los Angeles.
