In this week's Music Minute, Niall Horan teases a One Direction reunion, Justin Bieber launches his Purpose tour in London and Bruno Mars returns with a new single.

One Direction reunion

1D fans rejoice as Niall Horan has promised that the band will return for a reunion tour. Teasing their future comeback, the Irish singer said on Most Requested Live With Romeo: "It's not a case of one more show. There's going to be plenty more One Direction shows. That's a guarantee... There's definitely more than one."

Until then, Horan is busy launching a solo career with his debut single This Town reaching number nine on the UK chart. However, show boss Simon Cowell believes the song could have performed better and says the reason is Horan choosing to sign with Capitol Records rather than Syco.

Cowell told the Sunday Mirror: "He probably would have had a number one single if he'd stayed with me. But you know who does have number this week? James Arthur. Very pleased he's back with us with a fantastic record."

Justin Bieber finds his Purpose in the UK

So what's coming up this week? Justin Bieber is finally bringing his anticipated Purpose World Tour to London. The Cold Water heart-throb will perform four nights in a row at the O2 Arena from 11 October with support from British r'n'b group Mic Lowry. Not to worry if you missed out this time round as Bieber will return to the O2 for two nights in November on the 28 and 29.

Bruno Mars comeback

If you need to update your playlist then Bruno Mars has a brand new disco jam for you. The crooner's new single 24K Magic is just as funky as his bestselling 2014 hit Uptown Funk but with a slightly more relaxed vibe. Mars, 31, directed the music video himself with help from Cameron Duddy and said the single is your "official invitation to the party". 25K Magic is expected to feature on Mars' forthcoming third studio album of the same name, which is set for release on 18 November.
